After four great years of building Mivos together, our founding cellist Isabel Castellvi made the difficult choice to leave the quartet in order to fully pursue her other projects. While we are sad to see her leave, we have no doubt that she’ll excel in her musical endeavors and wish her all the best!

We are fortunate to have found an amazing new cellist for the quartet, Mariel Roberts.  Many of you know her already as a very distinguished performer in the New York scene. She had quite an intense introduction, stepping in very late to join us on the European tour. The tour went very well and Mariel is a perfect new addition to the group. We’ll be holding a welcoming party/fundraiser for her on September 16th, graciously hosted by Spectrum NYC. Details for that event will follow shortly. We hope to see you there.
